Ryflex offers the original two piece bolt and glue speed cushion.
This style is available in 1.65 metre 1.75 metre and 1.9 metre widths and 3 metre length. The cushion is particularly suitable for areas where there is an uneven road surface and extra security of fixing is required. The cushion is fitted on a layer of high build adhesive which covers the entire area of the pad, the cushion is then bolted to the road surface. This fitting method gives additional security of fixing and the glue layer acts as a filler between the road and cushion evening out any irregularities in the road surface.
This method of fixing requires an installation time of eight hours before the road can be reopened for traffic.
Our new bolt down only speed cushion is now available to offer rapid installation and minimal road closure time. This cushion has a unique underside profile that moulds to the road surface exerting positive pressure at the edges when fitted. This cushion is available in 1.75 metre width and 3 metre length with a 65mm thickness. Installation can be completed in one hour resulting in minimal road disruption and reduced installation costs.
